I have old residential property before 2001 . this was inherited from my parents. it was gone to redevelopment and i have taken extra space and paid x amount. i got possession in Jan 24.
1) Is it necessary to show in return for ass year 24-25 ?
claim u/s54 and long term capital exemp.
2) There is no mention in AIS.
3 i am going to sale in F Y 24-25. There will be tax payable on capital gain which i took exemption.
